ECCDI currently has eight (8) communities in Eastern North Carolina that offer independent living for active older adults. Consisting of one and two bedroom apartment homes, each location provides affordable housing with professional on-site management. Set in attractive conveniently located areas, each community is within close proximity to banks, restaurants, shopping, churches, county transportation systems, community activities and other amenities. 

Residency is available to individuals and couples 55 years of age and older. Certain income restrictions apply. Leases are available on a year-to-year basis with a month’s security deposit. Pets less than 25 pounds are permitted with payment of a $150 non-refundable deposit.
