East Carolina Community Development
Inc. (ECCDI) is a private nonprofit 501 (c) (3) Corporation established
in 1995. It is dedicated to improving and enhancing the standard of
living of the people of North Carolina. ECCDI is organized to:
- Meet the needs for quality
affordable housing in its primary market areas.
- Facilitate access to capital
for small businesses.
- Provide social outreach
programs.
ECCDI’s services have impacted the
following counties to date: Brunswick, Carteret, Craven, Duplin, Jones,
Lenoir, New Hanover, Onslow, Pamlico and Pender.

of non-profit organizations in a spirit of helping others to improve
the quality of life for individuals and families that are experiencing
economic and social stress in their daily lives.
