East Carolina Community Development Inc. (ECCDI) is a private nonprofit 501 (c) (3) Corporation established in 1995. It is dedicated to improving and enhancing the standard of living of the people of Eastern North Carolina. ECCDI is organized to:

• Meet the needs for quality affordable housing in its primary market areas.

• Facilitate access to capital for small businesses.

• Provide social outreach programs to the people of Carteret County.

ECCDI’s service areas include the following counties: Brunswick, Carteret, Craven, Duplin, Jones, Lenoir, New Hanover, Onslow, Pamlico and Pender.

We serve together in the field of non-profit organizations in a spirit of helping others to improve the quality of life for individuals and families that are experiencing economic and social stress in their daily lives.
