ECCDI has recently completed the Longbourne Apartments development in Jacksonville. Longbourne consists of 44 units of senior apartment living, within a 2 story building accessible by elevator. The design is similar to the recently completed Edenbridge development located in Morehead City.

Future plans are to continue development in Onslow County due to the expected population increase.  ECCDI has two other projects in the pre-development and planning stages. Construction on both these projects is expected to commence in 2009.

Each community will offer independent living to its residents. Senior residences will have one and two bedroom apartments and multi-family units will have two and three bedroom apartments. Each location provides affordable housing with professional on-site management. Set in attractive conveniently located areas, each community will be within close proximity to banks, restaurants, shopping, churches, major highways, community activities and other amenities. 

Residency is available to individuals and couples 55 years of age and older in the senior housing apartments. In the multi-family apartments, leasing arrangements are available to all that qualify. Certain income restrictions apply. Leases will be available on a year-to-year basis with a month’s security deposit.
