Additional affordable housing in the near future from ECCDI
With the 2011 state and federal tax credit award from the North Carolina Housing Agency and Community Development Block Grant from the City of Jacksonville, ECCDI is excited to announce that we have begun construction of Wellington Grove Apartments in Jacksonville, NC. Wellington Grove will offer 88 units of safe, convenient and affordable housing to low - moderate income individuals and families in Jacksonville. The apartment community will offer one, two and three bedroom apartments conveniently located on the future Carolina Park Avenue, off Carolina Forest Road, off Western Blvd., only minutes away from shopping, grocery, pharmacies and other amenities. Residency is available to income eligible individuals and families. Continue to watch our progress of this new apartment community on our Facebook page.
The City of Jacksonville continues to grow, and county and city officials welcome ECCDI due to the high standard of affordable housing it continuously provides. As with all ECCDI developments, apartments are situated in prime locations close to desirable amenities.
ECCDI will continue additional affordable housing efforts in many eastern North Carolina counties with sites already in the negotiation process. Housing details related to ECCDI’s new projects will be updated as soon as construction begins.
