Creating solid partnerships for community development since 1995

Much of ECCDI’s success must be attributed to the outstanding partnerships and investors it has forged along the way. These partners and investors have helped the organization fulfill their mission and have supported ECCDI’s growth since our founding in 1995.

Special acknowledgment must be given to the North Carolina Community Development Initiative, Inc. (NCCDI), who has been a consistent investor in ECCDI’s endeavors, since 2000.  NCCDI’s continuing support has allowed ECCDI to further its mission in positively impacting many families throughout eastern North Carolina.

Loans and Financing from ECCDIIn addition, the USDA-Rural Development has been a partner of ECCDI’s since 1998 supporting ECCDI’s lending programs to rural small businesses and increasing our lending portfolio to practically $6 million. Our lending programs have assisted rural small businesses in business expansion and development, with the emphasis on job creation and sustainability.
