A Board of Directors representing local and area leadership in housing, banking, loan approval, higher education, government, and business governs East Carolina Community Development Inc. The members are elected by the Board and serve for two year terms. The full Board meets four times each year including an annual retreat away from the home office.
The Board has an executive committee consisting of the Board Chairperson, the Secretary, Treasurer, and the President /CEO that handles routine matters between board meetings.
The Board also has a loan committee of 5-6 members that meets as needed to approve loans made through the Rural Venture Fund.
